winter tires

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good tire that will perform well on snow for my 98 3000GT? Right now, I have almost no traction or control.

I have good 'old trusty Bridgestone Blizzaks on my car... But nowadays most dedicated winter tires perform more or less the same in bad weather:

Feels mushy taking a when it's on dry road... But makes you feel like a expert driver in the snow.
