Death ray? No.
Really big magnifing glass on steroids? Yes. It's still very cool though and it gives me something to do in my free time this summer. I've read books on this though about death rays. I know there's one you can make from smoke detector parts that if used right will cause somebody to get very ill if you use it on them. Also, other death rays don't really kill you but mess up your insides, like creating cancer.

I giggled when saw this thread title.
The death ray is cool, but seems like the result of bordem mixed with a side dish of destrction. I was burning shit with magnifying glasses when I was like 5 years, big whoop.

thanks ci5ic..... I want one of those for christmas now... MOM!!!!!! Theres a huge window in the spare bedroom in the house I bought, that death ray will be perfect there! tell the neighbors i'm sorry about the PT Cruiser!

^I don't think I was ever able to set card board on fire with a magnifying glass though. It's pretty funny how intense the guy sounds. I think I will stick with my sparkler and percusion bombs though.
