Have you checked the bulbs?

All the bulbs are good. The turn signals work, the parking lights work, the emergency flashers work and the 3rd brake light is the only one that lights up. I wonder if the trailer plug could be causing a problem?

Re: Brake lights
Do the turn signals work? If they do not, look at the turn signal switch. If they do, do you have a towing package? If there is a towing package, there is a fuse under the hood for the brakes. Check for it. I don;t have access to wiring at home, but I will try to look tomorrow(if internet is working at shop) and will give you location.
