Those who doubt me, keep reading.

Last week my timing belt snapped along with a rod and compltely owned my engine (link here: Possible Broken Rod ). Pissed didn't even begin to describe what I was feeling because I just put ~$850 into new axels and new suspension. I was passed pissed off and to the point of "I'm going to part out my car and get a 240SX." Well, as the days went by and I was looking for cars my mom reminded me that the guy at the suspension shop was selling his car. DUH!!! I had totally forgotten! I spoke with him briefly about it because my friend was looking for a car at the time. What car was it, you may ask? A 1991 Laser Turbo RS with a 3-inch turbo-back catless exhaust!! It has 132,000-135,000 miles on it and he's selling it for $1,600! Needless to say, I hopped ALL over that deal. I went and talked with him Saturday and went for a little drive. You guys are so freaking right....there is nothing more sweet than a turbo DSM. It pulls SOO freaking hard. I told him that I'm buying it and to go ahead and collect his belongings out of it. I'm going by tonight and buying it and transferring title/tags and insurance!!! Guys, I'm in high school right now and I'm sitting in class and have never been so freaking jittery in my whole life. Once again, I'm pulled back into the DSM world. Woo hoo!

Well guys, I love everything that is DSM... I took my car out and got on the gas a little. Well, more than a little. I unleashed it and BOY it's wonderful! The guy told me $1,600, but he wrote $1,500 on the bill of sale, so that's what I bought it for. So I think, and I'm sure you guys do to, that I got a really freaking sweet deal. I'll post pics as soon as I can. I work ever day, but maybe this weekend. Thanks for all the encouragement guys!

Thats great to hear. Last year (my senior year in HS) i lucked into a sweet deal on a 90 awd with a busted water pump. After i got that fixed, hooked doesnt even begin to describe it. I even managed to convince my subie friend to pony up for a 2.2L turbo swap! heh.
