Anyone know about this blue longtail GTR?

Shown on the sleepy-fish video Erik found here -

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=266926

- first shown at 2 minutes 20s through to 2 minutes 29s? Its a lovely blue colour wearing #3 going round what seems to be Silverstone(?)

Its' chassis number would be great, but an even better Xmas present for me would be pictures of it.

Hope you can help

by process of elimination i am thinking it could be 024R - here goes....

The Speed 12 first ran in the 1998 British GT Championship, and after checking qv500.com it seems that 021R didnt race in the Brit GT whereas 024R did in the hands of O'Rourke and Sugden - however it doesnt state what livery / sponsor it was run in....

Does anyone have any other pics / info of this car in this colour combination?

Many thanks

just goes to show that the internet's chassis bible aka qv500.com can also be incorrect as it states -

21R BMW Motorsport, 1997 FIA GT Championship: Hockenheim 1st (Lehto/Soper), Silverstone 3rd (Lehto/Soper), Helsinki 1st (Lehto/Soper), Nurburgring 3rd (Lehto/Soper), Laguna Seca DNF
(Lehto/Kox).

and

24R BMW Motorsport, 1997 Le Mans 24 Hours: DNF (Lehto/Soper/Piquet). 1997 FIA GT Championship (with Gulf Team Davidoff): Nurburgring 7th (Bscher/Nielsen), Spa DNF (Bscher/Nielsen), A1-Ring DNF (Bscher/Nielsen), Suzuka 1000km DNS (Bscher/Nielsen/Lees). Sold to EMKA Racing. 1998 Le Mans 24 Hours: 4th (O' Rourke/Sugden/Auberlen). 1998 British GT Championship: Silverstone 2nd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Oulton Park 1st (O' Rourke/Sugden), Croft 2nd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Snetterton 3rd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Silverstone 4th (O' Rourke/Sugden), Donington 2nd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Silverstone 8th (O' Rourke/Sugden), Spa Francorchamps 1st (O' Rourke/Sugden), Silverstone 5th (O' Rourke/Sugden). 1999 British GT Championship: Silverstone 1st (O' Rourke/Sugden), Oulton Park 4th (O' Rourke/Sugden), Snetterton DNF (Sugden), Brands Hatch 3rd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Silverstone DNF (O' Rourke/Sugden), Donington 4th (O' Rourke/Sugden), Donington 3rd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Silverstone 3rd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Croft 3rd (O' Rourke/Sugden), Spa Francorchamps 4th (O' Rourke/Sugden), Silverstone DNF (O' Rourke/Sugden).

and Erik has it, in post #2, as

The car is one of the '97 longtail GTRs - GTR #21R. It began its racing career as one of the Schnitzer/FINA Team BMW Motorsport longtail GTRs and then was later campaigned in a single race of the 1998 Privilege Insurance British GT series by Team Carl Racing wearing this livery. It was piloted by Gregor Fisken and Peter Hardman and competed in Round #5 at Silverstone finishing 8th place.

As you can see, qv500 has it as 024R but being driven by O'Rourke & Sugden, and not the 021R as driven by Fisken & Hardman.

Either way, its a damn fine colour combination!!
