Re: wheelz 2

Well I knock it down a bit!!

Don't get the second ones!!!!! Won't 17x7 be a bit small though?? that'll give you a thiner tyre than stock?, as in less width which will mean worse stability and traction.

Personally I'd save a bit more and get 18x8's

You are doing so wrong. Do not give up traction to lose weight.

If you want to save weight try Rota, Gram Lights, SSR.

Re: wheelz 2

That last link doesn't work. But I agree with everyone else. 18's are going to give you more traction, and you wont have the black holes between your rims and the fenders.

bigger wheels do not change wheel / fender gap

yeah you want width. im not sure what the maximum is on your car, but try something like 17x8/9 or 18x8/9 if it fits. Basically the wider and lighter the wheel is (within your car's chassis ability to handle that wheel) the better.

Re: wheelz 2

18x9.5 is as wide as I have seen that will fit under the front.

Re: wheelz 2

I think they're having a group buy for the 5zigen's on 3SI if you want to check it out.

Re: wheelz 2

isn't 9.5 a lil' too wide talskinny??? I mean becuase if it's too wide, your speedo won't be accurate you you'll have slower acceleration right???

Re: wheelz 2

width doesnt have anything to do with speedo, thats diameter/radius.
