airbag light on

I recently swap my seats: cloth to leather. from a jetta 2004 vr6 to my jetta 2000 vr6. The seats of my car was originally manual seats. The now seats installes are power control seats.

Now I'm having a problem. After intalling the new seats, I have the airbag light is on(little man with a circle on the dash board. What should I do? Is t a problem to drive like that?

i believe the seat airbag is different size on 2004 because of recaro style seats..
