Question 2003 cavalier cd player install

hello everyone

For the 03' cavalier I've got as far as undoing all the blots to take the dash cover off. Now what do I do when the airbag is attached to the dash cover and the dash mag beam? I can't seem to find a way to disconnect the airbag from either the cover or the car. Also what would the steps be after, going straight to the radio and installing the cd player? I went to Future Shop and they wanted to sell my a $149.99 bypass sensor.(they said the airbags wouldn't work without the sonsor) i need to find out if this is all true?

thanks

Yes your airbags WILL work, the only thing that won't work is your door chimes. As far as taking your dash apart, I'm not sure on how similar the 03+ models are to the other models, but this may help...

Good luck!
