best air intake

does anyone know which 4.7L air intake system will give it the best gas milage/power? is it true that k&n's intake is made of plastic (thats gay)

Plastic is what you want.. It's lighter, and keeps the air cooler. Besides that the K&N GenII FIPK is plastic, the other K&N has the metal tube, but like I said, that metal tube will warm up and warm up the air passing through the intake and give you less power.. Go with the plastic.

yep...but i think anything is good if you're low on budget. got mine for $100 total for just a simple intake system.
