Talking Hobby Lobby 1/2 off sale

I just checked out Hobby Lobby's web site and saw die cast and plastic model kits 1/2 off Dec. 12-17. I guess I will be getting my Christmas presents tomorrow!!

Why is it in one day I buy enough kits at Hobby Lobby to last me about four months

Why is it that I probably buy on average this many kits every month or two

No wonder I'll have to live to be 350 years old to build everything I have today

Today's haul:
2 '06 Mustang GT's, 68 Mustang fastback (Revell diecast kit, very nice), '69 Shelby, '05 Corvette CV snap kit (ooh love them stickers )

Re: Hobby Lobby 1/2 off sale

Are you sure that the plastic kits are included in the new sale for Dec 26th-31st? It looks like it is just die cast to me.

Re: Hobby Lobby 1/2 off sale

I just re-read the ad. I missed the bold black type that said "plastic model kits". Thanks! LOL

Sorry Hobby Lobby, this time you're not going to get me

The model companies will all die in 2006, as I've resolved to not purchase any new models next year

Between the last HL sale (pre-Xmas) and an order from Hobbylink, makes 9 kits purchased in December alone. Another is coming from a friend's order, and another was started as a club project. That makes 11 new kits in one month. I built 15 last year so do the math

This coming year I'm cleaning out, making space and some $$ and building what I have The classified thread might have some goodies soon.
