Angry Problems with Intrigue

I see that some have the same problem that I do. Recently I have water coming into my car when it rains. First of all I want to know where the water could be coming from because I looked and could not find any problem. My next problem is that my heater is not working, or maybe I should say that the fan is not working for the heat to circulate throughout the car. I am thinking that it is a fuse, but I do not know where to begin to put the fuse if I buy it. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what I should do. I found the fuse box under the hood but do not know which one is the blower fuse.

Re: Problems with Intrigue

If you have water coming in to the car on the passenger side, it's likely that the cover over the air filter (just below the passenger side wiper blade) is not sufficiently tightened. I got a similar problem when I had my windshield replaced, the cover was not screwed on tightly enough after the replacement and I always got water in the car until the dealership adjusted it.

As for the fan not working, you've likely either blown a fuse (or more likely) or the blower motor has rusted and died due to water coming into the passenger side compartment. Bring it to the dealer and have them check the blower motor. They may need to swap it out. This is a fairly common problem for these cars.

Re: Problems with Intrigue

does your car have a sunroof? if it does, the sunroof ducts may be backed up. inside the rear fenderwell, you'll see a small tube on the right side. there may be dirt inside the tube.

i HAD THIS HAPPEN AS WELL- I FOUND THAT UNDER THE VENT RIGHT BELOW THE WINDSHIELD WIPER- IF YOU TAKE THIS OFF, YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU CAN SEE RIGHT DOWN INTO YOUR BLOWER MOTOR. The frame surrounding on the top, has a rubber cover similar to the same thing that surrounds your doors. Mine had come off, and it allowed water to just poor in when it rains. Hope this helps someone sometime.
