93 Villager with radio problem

The radio works, even will search and find a station but I have no sound what so ever. Not even static. Is the radio bad?

It's impossible to say from this information. Possibly the output stage has gone down. I think the 93 has just the radio/cassette, right? (The 95 has a radio/CD combination and if the connection between the two parts is bad, no sound comes from either.)
You should remove the radio from the console, then reconnect the cables so it works again. There will be a power connector with a pair of wires, an antenna plug, and whatever remains should have the loudspeaker connections. You can find cheap replacements from all sorts of years on EBay.
