89 bronco wont start

all the lights and everything work but when i try to turn it over everything goes off and if i go and mess with the positive side of the battery connection everything will come back on but still does the same thing when i try again, it clicks and everything goes off and i don't have enough experience to know what any of the problems could be.....any help is appreciated

Try jumping the solenoid "Fender relay"-if your battery is pretty new.

check your coneters if tight u need a solenoid swich
