Question 95 Astro Where is blower control relay

Help, My heater blower only works on high speed. I'm pretty sure that the problem is in the blower resistor relay module. I have seen in other postings that the module has been located near the blower motor but on my van the wire from the motor seems to run off to a wiring harness that runs through the fire wall.
I can't find it under the dash or don't know what it looks like if I did find it.
Anyone know where to look on a 95 Astro, what it looks like (size, color) and maybe a part number ?
Thanks, Tom

You've looked behind the window washer / rad overflow bottles? Mines' (97) there, about 5 or 6" x 1 or so.
If yours isn't there, it's got to be in the blower motor airstream, usually in the blower box.

Thanks Drew300,
It was in the blower box. The cable plugs into a panel at the top of the blower box. The panel comes out with two screws and the resistor assembly is on the underside of the panel. I tested the components on the assembly and found that one of the thermal fuses had blown. When I jumped across the fuse the fan worked properly. Chevy wants $41 for the new assembly which I should probably replace so I have the thermal protection but I'd rather just replace the thermal fuse if I only knew what size to get. Does any one know what the rating on the thermal fuse is? Mine is too corroded to tell.

Tom

You've said resistors, and thermo-fuse. I guess you know the difference. I didn't see a thermofuse on my board. I had a printed wire corroded away by the sealant GM used. I replaced the printed wire with a soldered in one. A thermo fuse? What's the purpose? Does it protect the blower motor? I thought you'd want to keep airflow if the box got hot. That said, the thermo fuses I've seen are color coded (at one end) for the temp rating. I've bought a few at Radio Shack, or a local electronics part store. I fold up the leads, and carefully heat-sink the lead with pliers before soldering. don't cut the lead, soldering will melt the new fuse.
