04 Malibu axle seal, check yours.

See post below. Front seal replace seems to be a growing problem. Check for spots on ground under car or next oil change have someone do a visual. I am on second replacement with37,000 mi.

"04 malibu maxx front axle seal " is the post , somewhere below. just short discussion on axel seals. As stated tech told me it was a growing problem and I passed that on. Easy to detect if you check but easy to miss if you don't. Long term could be a tranny problem since what leaks out is tranny fluid.
