Re: 1994 S-10 blazer 4.3 4 wheel drive interior lights problem
I don't have a wiring diagram for the '94, but it's pretty safe to say that fuse has no connection to your computer - the horn and interior lights are ancilary items not monitored or controlled by the computer. A fuse blows because something in the circuit pulls an amperage greater than the limits of the fuse - in other words, there's some type of short in your system. Have you noticed if there is a particular event which causes the fuse to blow? There are a lot of different places a short can occur and linking to blown fuse to an event helps.

Re: 1994 S-10 blazer 4.3 4 wheel drive interior lights problem
what size fuse is it? if its a 20 amp fuse check for something in the cig lighter, that is also on the same fuse. a lot of times a coin falls down there and causes trouble.

Re: 1994 S-10 blazer 4.3 4 wheel drive interior lights problem
Is your rig equipped with a time delayed courtesy light? The dimming when you get out of the car would point to a problem with a conditional event circuit, on interior lights that would usually be a simple timer. The timers are generally triggered by the door being opened at then closed with no key in the ignition. Closing the door starts the timer and that's the time when you'd most likely see the effect from a short in that circuit. Does this seem to fit?
