Angry How do I replace V-Belt on 99 Cabrio

What other bolts do I need to loosen/remove before the tensioner will walk upwards so I can release the belt? This is the smaller of the belts only running around 3 circles. Thanks

Re: How do I replace V-Belt on 99 Cabrio

power steering belt:

loosen 2 13mm nuts on pump to bracket (1 is inside a larger 22mm nut with star lookin thing on it)
use 22mm wrench to relieve tension on ps pump (turn clockwise looking at belt should move tward engine)

serp belt:
there is a special tool for this but you dont have it. i think a 14mm wrench can be used to loosen the tension enough to slip belt off.
