Vitesse body conversion

http://www.vitessesportscar.com/index.html

I was wondering if anybody had seen the convsion and what they thougt of it. I like the coupe version even making me thin bout picking up a crx and doing it myself. Why not cheap car grab one and while its in the garage i could put in a B16. Does anybody make a conversion kit or is there just like a guide on where to get the motor mounts and what wiring needs to be done.

Re: Vitesse body conversion

thats crazy. I've never seen anything like that before. i don't really understand how it all fits together to make it look like that haha but that would look dope if you could pull it off. It kinda looks like euro i think. Let us know if you decide to get it. good luck

Re: Vitesse body conversion

They went out of business along time ago. Last I heard that one on their website was sitting in a garage without a motor, it was the first one built and they made the fiberglass too thin and the paint cracked real bad on it everywhere.

So where did you hear that they went out of business, and when?
I was very interested in maybe doing that body conversion. Also what bout the B16 swap is there ne where i can get the motor mounts, wiring harness already done?

For the money you spend doing the conversion you could build the engine and probably boost it, too.

Re: Vitesse body conversion

Just buy a Fiero and look into conversions for them. They are semi cheap and some look really nice. Please don't kill another EF

Re: Vitesse body conversion

The only problem with the fiero is that fact the chassis are old and are very dangerous. Espically when u start streching 10-12nches like some kits. I was wanting to use the good handling of the crx with a very nice looking body.

Re: Vitesse body conversion

They have plenty of drop on kits for the Fiero.

Re: Vitesse body conversion

for the b16 i would go to hmotorsonline and hasport for the mounts and shift linkage and whatever else they can supply. i've herd some really good things about hasport.

Re: Vitesse body conversion

i love that blue kit for the crx, yes it looks like a fiero alittle but it doesnt look intirely like a crx, all these other kits look like crx's with kits, or just really ugfreakinly. i would if i could but i cant so i wont, thats the only kit i would put on. just my opinion though u dont have to agree. also way too expencive when i first saw it 3 yrs ago.
