Re: Christmas Gift ideas

Yea sure why dont I just make a list of 75 different price organized and itemized gifts. I've got that much spare time. (I actually do, but no fucking way would I do that.)

Get your mom a vibrator. <100$

Re: Christmas Gift ideas

Well ill just post the gifts that i bought people since i dont feel like going by price.

Grandparents - Went in with the family to get them a fireplace....not really sure how much this costs but i put in $200

Sister- Hoodie since she kept trying to steal mine $70

aunts and uncles- $50 gift cards for resturants X 3

Cousins- ages 5 and 8 Mario Allstar Baseball for Gamecube $50

Girlfriend - Snowboard, boots, bindings. $450

I think thats everything. I had all my shopping done last tuesday. Only reason it took that long was because the GF couldnt decide which snowboard she wanted.

Since I'm perpetually broke, (like a 3rd grader) I'm making gifts for the fam. One thing I'm going to do is I'm taking some 1/4" thick clear lexan, and sand-blasting 8 small pieces (4-5 inches each), each with the name of a family member. The pieces will be cut like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, and will all fit together to form a square. Feel like it's a nice metaphor for family.

Each piece will also have a hole drilled with a ribbon, so the individual pieces can be used as christmas ornaments.

This will work nicely this year, since it's rare to have everyone together at the same time, I'll probably assemble all the pieces and wrap them in one box and have my parents open it, then everyone can take their ornament and hang it. Each family member will keep their own ornament for future years.

Only thing I wish I could do is cut the pieces in a way that the puzzle could be expaned later, in case family members (grandchildren, husbands, wives, etc.) are added... can't think of a good way to do that without ruining the square shape of the assembled pieces.

My brother, mom and me got my dad a custom Fender Telecaster Guitar- $1,700

I got my mom a goft card for macy's- $50

I got a Leather Suede Guitar Strap for my bro- $65

I got all my friends 15 dollar gift cards to iTunes Music Store

For myself I have asked for the new Nikon DSLR Camera D50 with the kit that comes with 2 lenses and the case and full size tripod. Thats going to cost about 650 dollars at least from where I found it for a good price.

Re: Christmas Gift ideas

Got my mom a set of crystal champagne glasses(got them for 75% off at a local store that is going out of biz.) Got my girl a gold pendant with a heart shaped diamond chip and ruby(fucking $50 on eBay, except the chain was absolute garbage so i ended up splurging and going with a 14kt. yellow gold chain that was fucking $200.) For my grandparents got them a set of two-way radio's so they can correspond while backing their trailor. My dad, eh not sure if I'm gonna get him anything. Got my bro a new videogame(not sure what one). And my sis and brother in-law got them a really nice kif-box. Damn i need to stop buying shit, no wonder I'm broke. Peace-
