Question instruction book

do anyone know where to get an mechanical instructin book for a 1997 t-bird 3.8 and can i put a turbo charger on a 3.8

You CAN turbocharge a 3.8, but personally I wouldnt recommend it. It would take quite a bit of fabrication, and time, no big deal, but the motor itself woud take more building to be able to stand the rigors or forced induction than its worth IMO. I'd find a donor car with a 4.6 and grab all the necessary parts from it to do a swap, IE computer, wiring, tranny, mounts. If you still wanted to go with forced induction, it'd be a lot more reliable and I think you'd be happier with the overall result. The mod motor has been proven to withstand upwards of 700 horsepower reliably, and I think you'd be plenty happy with significantly less than that.
