Help me with my 88 suburban
I just bought this truck. It's a 350. It was driving fine, and now it's started to hesitate when I step on it to much. If I accelerate slowly enough, it works fine, but if I step on it it'll bog down, and I can even hear a little knock, but if I step on it harder it'll accelerate through all that and gain speed. I changed the air and fuel filters, and just dropped some fuel injector cleaner in the tank. It's running a whole lot better but it's still doing the same thing! I just moved out to LA and I'm trying to avoid being ripped off by some mechanic out here. Anybody have any similar experience that could offer help? Thanks in advance

Re: Help me with my 88 suburban
I got a 99 surb and it was doing the same thing. I did the fuel filter change and then put a can of seafoam in the tank, after about 150 miles it cleaned up and runs great now.

Re: Help me with my 88 suburban
If you have not found a fix yet try unhooking the EGR valve, if this curse the hesitation then replace the EGR valve.
