High output alternator
2001 1500-HD. I'm running an inverter and need more amps. Excelauto.com sells a aftermarket 200+ Amp Alt which is bolt on. They report internal regulator is same as my 105 stock, wiring harness was the same Volts are great but I think I smell a new electrical sent at idle with the front defrost on. Never the panel vents only the defrost vents. I suspect low amp output at idle so I'm getting an underdrive pulley any other thoughts?
