Spacers or not to Spacers

So, like most old ppl on this forum knows i have a 3rd gen88 firebird.. with the 5.7LV8. i was wondering if anyone has info on what sort of spacers i need to be able to fit 4th gen rims. i usually dont like that sort of thing, swapping rims..but lately my rims have been getting dinged...stupid potholes....and one of my tires is leaking. im not sure if its a rim ding or a hole, and frankly, id feel safer with two sets of rims...i can get 4 rims with tires..for a 4th gen cheaper than i can a set of brand new tires also. so...
any info?

What sort of spacers shall i need to use?!
