Smile I just got my Brembo Brakes

All four rotors, wow. Talk about added weight. 28lbs for 2 Anyways, does anyone know if I need to break these in? Also, whats a good brake pad to use? Damn, they look nice They should give me what? 15-20 extra horsepower?

Didn't you sell your car? I saw it on eBay.

Unhappy

I was trying, but nobody wanted to pay what I wanted to get. Besides, the bidder backed out I was hoping to get close to 5k for it, but oh well. So, I have decided to keep it, and finish what I started.

No, im a cheap skate, I couldnt afford a bigger upgrade kit. The rotors I got, are slightly bigger than stock. I kept all stock calipers etc.

are you sure those are Brembos? first of all...all brembo rotors come in a goldish coated color for rust preventions and are the same OEM size. beacuse if it's bigger, it might not clear with the dust shield inthe back and it probably wont fit in the factory caliper unless you relocate it.

Well, they were advertised as brembos, came in a brembo packaging, and look like what a shop in town also has. When I say slightly larger, Im not talking about inches, i mean slightly. They fit fine, I put them on Sunday. They work great, stop great, feel great. Even if they were not brembos, I guess i got screwd then. For 70 bucks a pair, I could have got some cheap shit from AutoZone. So these should at least last longer.

ok, was just double checking...cuz usually $110 for the front pair is about 30bucks below my cost so was quite amazed by the price you got them at.

Nah, I saw them on there and was wondering. I hope you don't live in a place where it gets really cold in the winters, cuz they'll crack (due to cross drilling).
