1993 Chevy S-10 Vin A

I have a 1993 CHEVROLET S10 PICKUP L4 2.5L 2474cc 151cid GAS FI N Engine VIN = A and i can not find the part number for the Engine coolant temp sensor connector on the back of the head. I have tried many web pages in my search. It is a 1 wire connector. I even tried ordering from the dealership but wrong one comes in. Even the dealership can not locate the right one. GM has a bad habbit of changing part numbers and no cross reference of the old one. AC Delco part number for the temp sensor itself is 213-70.

Talk to an aftermarket parts company, and ask them if you can borrown one of their books that contains all the sending units.

Then just look it up on your own. Take a pic of the 1 you've got in there if possible to make it easier., Or better yet take it out and compair.

I had to borrow the book you need a few months ago to find a thermal switch for a custom application, and there are literally hundreds to choose from. They mix all the car makes and models together and even have thermal switches mixxed together with temputure switches making it even tougher to find.

not sure but I think the "sensors" are usually the two lead type for the ECM's
and the single lead type are referred as a switch/sender like these
