Re: How to never overboost again.
Okay, update on this mod. Ryan isn't online now, so he can't change it just yet.
I wired in a SPDT relay. It is much safer than the other method. This way, you could pretty much bounce off the limit all day. After Lance made his post, I researched relays for prolly 45minutes.. Google is a PITA about it unless you know exactly what you are looking for. For those of you who don't know what a SPDT relay is, it is just your typical automotive relay, but it has pins: 85 86 87 87a 30 So if it has 5 pins, one on each side and then one in the middle, it is a SDPT relay. You can keep the old setup that I posted. But to switch it, you do this: 1) Cut the soldered section where you tapped the ignition wire out so that you have three wire ends. Strip each. 2) Run the ECU side of your positive ignition wire to pin 30 3) Run the coil side of your positive ignition wire to pin 87a. 4) Run a small piece of wire from pin 30 to pin 85 or 86(doesn't matter as a coil is not polarity sensitive in this case). 5) Run the Hobbs pressure switch wire to pin 85 or 86(once again, doesn't matter which in this case as long as you have one wire on each pin). It will look like this when you are done. The advantage of this over the previous mod is that now you aren't just shorting out your positive ignition signal. Now when you overboost, power is just cut from the coil. If you have access to a SPDT relay, then use this method. If not, the old method will work just fine as you are not hitting the limit all day(hopefully). I definately recommend this method over the old method. Thanks to Lance from JGSturbo for his info on this.

Re: How to never overboost again.
Also I think that it would be a nice touch to solder the connections. The vibrations cause by the engine May cause the crimps to come loose. I know this happens in stereo systems from time to time.
Soldering is anice thing to learn and will make all your wiring look and perform better. Plus you feel better knowing everything is soldered.

Re: How to never overboost again.
Dude.. I did solder everything.
The only things I crimped were the tabs for the hobbs switch. And if you use proper crimping pliers, they never come loose.
