tire size url / Z brakes

I read a webpage a long time ago that listed the relations between rim sizes, aspect ratios, tire widths, and tire diameters. does anybody know the url? I am running a stock 96 P10 right now and my rotors are wearing down at ~93K miles. I think I'm going to put the 300ZX TT brakes on & get some 5-lug wheels that can fit them. I was going to go 215/50R16 (I think) but I believe I've read that the rotors don't fit 16s without being ground down or something. So as for 17s I am wondering if I can use a 215, and if I can, what aspect ratio would keep the tire closest to stock overall diameter. Will there be any other complications? Also any other sorts of brakes to try? many thanks...
