Does the 97 have the same motor mount that one bolt has to be taken out of like my 98 has?
If so that's a complication. REquires taking off the right front wheel and splash plastic panel to gain easy access to the nut and stud that have to be removed. The motor needs to be supported slightly. My dealer did it differently when I paid them to have mine done. But I think someone here has posted the routine if yours has the motor mount problem for lower belt removal. |

Loekee has it right. I use a torgue wrench with appropriate hex size socket to loosen (pull over) the tension pully and get the old belt off. reverse proceedure to re-install, heh.
