88 Cherokee 4.0, Fuel Injected, Stalling

Hiya People...
The latest and greatest problem I'm having is stall after restart. Hot, cold, it doesn't seem to matter. It will always fire right up after it stalls, but without any kind of throttle control. Actually, actuating the throttle seems to kill it. The stall/restart thing can go on 5, 10, 25 times before it settles out and I regain throttle control.
I know I've read these symptoms before and what sensor needs to be cleaned or tweaked but a search on this forum using the word "stall" didn't seem to lead me to my exact problem.
It appears to be getting fuel to the throttle body reliably...I just know this is a sensor that isn't resetting or something dopey simple like that...
Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Stephen

Stephen,

I'd first try backprobing the tps signal wire. See if it stays at .7v at idle, and smoothly goes to almost 5v at wot. Check it while it's acting up.

Map sensor failure can cause this as well as ecu failure, or fuel pressure issues.
