one at a time or what?
i am new to model building (atleast on a serious scale :P), and i was just wondering, do you guys build one model kit at a time or do u work on several kits simulataneously? Not meaning working on 2 different cars on the same day, but my question is referring more to if you will work on a certain project while u have another project that is waiting to be finished? If so how many projects will u work on "at once" and how much do u actually get done?
What brings this up is I have 2 Revell ferrari's a 360 spider and an Enzo, and im working on the 360 right now and i just feel like theres too much going on with the 360 to even start to think about the enzo. |

Re: one at a time or what?
I think most on here have several kits goin' at once. . . Very common thing. . .
Right now, I've got 'bout seven that I work on when I get a chance or when I choose one I want to tinker with. That's been the case ever since I can remember. . .

My answer would be that would depend on how much time you want/have/ are able to spend on modeling... when I was studying.. I did 5-7 at the same time... 12-15 hours in front of the desk.... But now that I am working I only work on one at a time... chores...8-5 job... wife etc...
So decide based on your time

Re: one at a time or what?
Yup! I´ve got 7-8 kits under construction as we speak..
I usually finnish 2-3 models per year, so at current speed I´m a ble to finnish these projects in 3 or 4 years ![]() Then theres the stack of models I haven´t even touched yet..

Re: one at a time or what?
Or what.
I find that having a few in progress not only saves burn out, but saves time, because if I get hung up on something that has to dry for weeks, I can do something on the other kit while I wait.

Re: one at a time or what?
Heh...I have two Tamiya Enzos, a 67 Chevelle and a super-custom 69 Camaro going right now...and I almost started another tonight. Finals have me going nuts.
