I Have A 95 Ford T-bird 4.6 .i'm Having A Hard Time Starting It Every Day After It Sits Inactive For A Few Hours.it Cranks Fast, but It Takes Several Tries To Get It Started.i Can Hear The Fuel Pump Working.what Could Be Wrong With It?
Once the engine starts,I can restart it with no problem.

Re: hard starting

Fuel pressure regulator might be going to pot and letting the rails de pressurize and drain back.

I hope you are outside when somebody is cranking it over and thats how you can hear the fuel pump becuase there is no way I can hear my fuel pump inside my car while the engine is turning over.
