Question deville codes

i have a 1994 cadillac deville concours and it is haing some computer problems at least i think that is the problem. My car is acting very wierd and i cant seem to det anyone to give me a straight answer. Sometimes it is fine with no codes and other days i get codes when it is acting up the codes very but for the past week i have only been getting to two codes consistantly these codes are:
T072 .................................................. ...... Serial Data Link Fault
I034 ........................................ Loss of Powertrain Control Module Data
when these codes are present my car will not shift out of first gear when driving and when i put it into reverse or drive it jerks horribly like the tranny is about to fall out if anyone can give me any idea on if i need to replace my computer or if something else may be causing these codes to come up on my car every two or three days i would really appreciate any information anyone can give me thank you very much.

Re: deville codes

The T in code T072 is for traction control/ABS brakes.
Code 72 is loss of serial linlk data or losinc communcation on the computer bus.
The I is a insturment panel code on the I034 loss of pcm data.
You may need to check power to and connections and wiring of your ABS/traction computers and pcm.
A good factory repair manual and wiring diagrams and code repair flow charts will be needed.
