Having trouble starting

Today I went out to warm it up the car in the morning, and it would not start. The interior lights come on as well as the radio. It turns over fine but just won't start. The battery is good and i just don't know what it could be. please help.

Re: Having trouble starting

I have a 2000 Expd. it was 27 degrees this morning, went to start, it turned over, battery died. Boosted the battery - it just turned like it didnt have gas. Checked both fuses and checked the fuel pump and I heard it turn on and stop like its suppose to. Sprayed starter fluid into the throttle body and it didnt start. Sounds like a coil? or something to do with spark. Dont know how to check this what else can I check ??

tap the gas pedal before you crank it over, but turn the ignition on

Re: Having trouble starting

I have a 2000 EB Expedition -- I also have trouble starting it -- I can drive for long periods of time -- stop and go -- no problem. Then suddenly litghts radio, work but-- it won't start. I let it sit for a while and it starts beautifully.

This just started about 2 months ago -- dealer has no idea and wants to charge me hundreds for a diagnosis that may not come. I wrote to Ford am waiting for a response.
