What is the approximate length of the power steering return hose?

Re: Power Steering Return Hose Length

Best thing I would know, would be to use a piece of string to lay onto the hose.....and then measure the string....Buy just a little longer than you measured....

The length may or may not be different from year to year.

I would use Mobil 1 ATF, which is a Mercon Synthetic....if your '98 calls for Mercon. The synthetic will take the heat better...and give you better cold flow.
Do a search in this windstar room on power steering fluid....and you will see several posts on how to flush it. I ran 3 quarts through to flush it out.
