Quick question. My friend has a 95 c280. He disconected the battary and now his radio is says "code". we tryed typeing in 12345, it just said wait for like an hour and then said code again. Does anyone know the stereo code for this car, or a place where it can be found?

Thanks in advanced.

Re: radio code

Look in the owners manual pouch, you are looking for a silver credit card sized paper with the radio code written on it, it could be hand written in one of the manuals as well. DO NOT try any more wild guess attempts or you will be waiting for a long time before you get another shot. If you can't find the code card then take the car itself or the title(with your id as well) to a MB dealer and they should be able to get the code for you in a few minutes. You might be able to do it over the phone if you fax them the title and your D.L. but that's the individual dealer's call to make.
