Possibly For Sale 1988 Ranger 5.0

Okay I started this project last summer but now i dont have the money to finish it.

1988 Ford Ranger 250.00
5.0 302 200.00
Edelbrock Performer Intake 265.00
Edelbrock Air Cleaner 15.00
Holley Street Performance Carb 600 CFM 291.00
Holley Electronic Fuel Pump 100.00
Hedman Headers 150.00
Oil Filter Relocator and Hoses 45.00
Motor Mounts and plates 140.00
Distributor 95.00

Needs:
Header Gaskets
Fan Spacer
Fan
Radiator
Exhaust
Maybe more I cant remember
This truck does start and run but its very loud because of headers not being bolted on (no gaskets) has rust damage on all fender wells but cab is mint. So I was just wondering if anyone would give $1100.00 U.S.

Thats not the actual truck in the picture towards the left although it looks the same with rust.

I'm sorry guy for bustin' on you but I think you have been POSSIBLY hanging out with Steven Tyler from the group Aerosmith. $1100 for the rust bucket while showing another snapshot if a similar truck?? The song is....DREAM ON.

Good luck kid.

well its not really that bad, if you knew prices of ranger parts you would know that brand new fenders are 30 bucks and patch panels for the bed are only 25.

What's the engine out of? Would you just be willing to sell the engine only? How many miles are on the engine? Was it EFI, and do you have any of the EFI components left? Would you be willing to sell any of the parts indiviually? Has any of the internals been modified (Cam, Rocker Ratio, etc)... Do you have the transmission?

I'm not really interested in the truck, ironically I already have a cammed out 88 2.9L V6. It's a sleeper, I just destoryed on a 4.6L V8 in a TurdBird the other day. I'm not too much of a racer, but this guy just wouldn't keep his mouth shut about my V6 Ranger being slower than his car.

My girlfriend has an 87 Marquis with a 5.0L that's in need of an engine soon. The engine has low compression and just generally doesn't have any power. I've been really thinking about dropping in a 351 though..

Actually yes. I've been ginning up a plan to put a centrifugal blower on my 2.9L V6. So I will need more flow. I have the 5.0L Throttle Body adapter plate, but no 5.0L Throttle Body. Do you know how many MM the T.B. bore is? Do you know the location of the IAC?
