93 Camry rear defogger not working

I have a 93 Camry that the rear defogger does not work on. The light comes on when the button is pushed and it stays on for about the normal 13 minutes, but it doesn't heat up. Could this be a relay? If so, where would it be located and how I gain access to it? Thanks for any help.

The defogger relay and the DEFOG fuse (M-fuse) are in Junction Block No. 1, by the driver's left knee.

It could also be the wire in the window, the choke coil, or the wire harness.

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully one of these is the culprit.

Are the relay and the fuse the same thing? I took out one that is small and a square top and the defogger light on the switch wouldn't come on. Is it same to say this isn't the problem? My rear window is tinted. Does that rule out checking the wires? Thank you

No

A tinted window oftem means that the heating element HAS been damaged. Window tint people aren't very careful. And that's especially true if the tint has ever been replaced.

Under normal circumstances, I would think the same, but it wasn't working before the tint. Thanks
