runnig to rich
I just got my hands on a 84' toy supra and it was running find until I stoped and started it again then all of a sudden it ran really bad, any help on what is the problem?

Need more info. Get a Haynes manual and do some basic troubleshooting

I changed the spark plugs and cap/rotor, wires, thinking the may have been, because the old plugs had lots of curbon in the tip and the other thing I noticed was an exh. leak in the manifold that wasn't there before, could it be the cat? or engine coolant temp sensor for ecu? or some other thing?

Did you double check your plug wires to make sure the pattern is right? Is the timing set correctly? Is the engine getting fuel? Have you checked compression?

come to find out that the cheap air filter that was on the car had a part missing that got stuck in the mass air sensor that was telling the ecu that it was wide open so it was dumping fuel like a mad man, pulled part out every thing is back to normal, thanx for helping
