oil filter

I have a 2002 Suburban 5.3L 2WD and am getting ready to do my first oil change (have been done at dealer til now) and want to make sure I ma using the right filter. Bought a Fram PH3675 and was getting ready to change the oil when I noticed that the current filter is a good bit longer than the PH3675. Are the AC Delco filters longer or do I need a different Fram filter? I have checked a couple online parts catalogs and they say the the PH3675 is the correct filter but I want to make sure.

Thanks

Re: oil filter

Frankly I wouldn't use a std Fram, get the proper replacement AC or Purloator Pure One.

Re: oil filter

Already have the Fram filter, just wanted to know if it was the correct one. I will make sure and get try to get a purolator the next time, surely using the Fram (extra guard with anti-drain back valve) once won't be a big deal.

Trappie> Would suggest that you go to fram.com and verify that you have the correct filter:
