Re: 240sx,s13,s14,s13.5,s15???whats the diff between them all?

180sx is a japanese s13 with popup lights, they were always hatchbacks

and the silvia is the coupe counterpart with fixed headlights.

in the US, there is the 240sx the hatch is the 180sx bodystyle and the coupe is the silvia bodystyle with the 180sx headlights

a sileighty is a 180sx with the silvia front end.

japanese cars had different engines, early cars had 1.8L CA18DE/CA18DET engine

actually fuck that i bet this shit is in the faq

or hit me up on aim

yes and no. the 240 came in either coupe or fastback. the 180 you talk of resembles the 240 fastback. the sil eighty has the s13 silvia front headlights instead of the pop up ones

oohhhh boy....
the red top was found in the 91-94 silvias and 180sx

the flat black top was found in the 95-98 180sx same as the redtop with minor differences

the other black tops are found in the 95-98 s14 silvia and the 99+ s15 silvia. these ones have a hump over the third cylinder (towards the back.)

btw use ta search icon people hate u a lot less tat way
also wear some fire retardent clothes cuz i think some flamethrowers are coming...

Almost, the S13 in Japan was made from 88-92 and from 96-98, the S14 was made from 93-98 and the S15 from 99-02. CA was in the 88-90 S13s, the SR redtop was in 91-92 and blacktop was in 96-98, the S14 SRs were all the same and S15 SRs were all the same. I think this information is accurate...:P

Re: 240sx,s13,s14,s13.5,s15???whats the diff between them all?

Well, the "flat" sr20 is the high port design. They have straight intake runners and more potential. The S14 sr20det has a hump, and is a high port design, due to VVT (variable valve timing). S14 engine has it only on the intake side. The s15 is the fastest one (250hp), VVT is now on both the intake and the exhaust side. S15s are also mated with all new 6-spd tranny. Which is really expensive to convert to, as you need the diff, drive shaft and sensors. So there ya go.

Btw, your name is pretty ironic to the type of question you asked.

Most/all of this info can be found by using a search or reading the FAQ.

Tidy up on the typing skills too. Nobody likes to help someone they can't understand...
