Re: buying head unit

I really like this headunit, but i dont think that you can connect a ipod adaptor to it. Becuase i would want a hu that I could connect my ipod to and contorld everthing on the hu. Does anyone know of a hu that is nice and would look good in the eclipse that would support the ipod? Also i am looking for something around the 200 range.

Re: buying head unit

If the deck has an AUX Input on it than you can hook the Ipod up to it directly. You just need a RCA to headphone cable and when you want to switch it to listen the IPOD you put in on the AUX Channel on the deck and your good to go. If not then you would have to the signal sender. As far as the deck goes Highly recommend anything that is Panasonic, have had the same Panasonic deck going on 3 years now and have never had an issue with it.

Re: buying head unit

From what I hear that is not a bad HU as well. I am a Panasonic man though when it comes to decks

Wise choice. Pioneer is an excellent brand for HU. I have had my deh-p740 for over 3 years and it has passed through several cars, works like the day I bought it.
