tire suggestions? 245/45/17

its time for new tires i live in ga so it doesnt snow and im lookin to pay around 70-100 each. if anyone has and suggestions as far as what or what not to buy please reply.

also on there now i have cooper cobras - almost bald- and around 70+ mph my steering wheel starts shaking not that bad just vibrating enough to annoy me. could this be the alignment or tires, etc?
o ya lol when im driving staight my steering wheel seems to be turned a little to the left, if anyone knows how to fix that.

For that price range, your best bet is Kumho, Falken or Nitto tires (you will need to check the websites for the specific models). They make decent tires for the price...

I would check your alignment first given that your car does not go straight on a flat road...

Chances are you ball joint on your lower control arm has worn out which had also worn out the ball joint on the steering arm... If the shudder just happens at high speed you might need to wait another year before the alignment shop will be able to detect it.

If your alignment shop doesn't say anything about a worn ball joint when they align you car, it would be cheaper to re-balance the wheel and see if it fixes anything before replacing thinking about replacing the ball joints.
