02 TrailBlazer Fan Resistor

My 02 TB fan control does not operate in the first position.

Does anyone know how to install the resistor pack?

After I remove the glove compartment, do I need to remove another panel? Supposedly it's located next to the fan motor and involves 4 bolts and disconnecting/reconnecting one wire harnesss...

Lower hush panel under the glove box gives you better access, you will see it mounted near the blower on the heater case.
