My 1990 Plymouth Voyager minivan (2.5 l, 4 cyl, non turbo)
keeps eating MAP sensors every 6 months or so. I have heard, that general buletin went out saying there is now a MAP sensor valve kit available which is suppose to reduce the MAP sensor failure rate. It supposedly consists of vacuum hose(s) and a T joint. Does anyone know where this kit can be purchased, or can it be made ? My local dealer is clueless.... |

Re: MAP sensor failure (frequent)
all you need is a vacuum bleed to allow a very small
amount air movement in the map vacuum hose to attempt to suck any moisture out of the hose |

Thanks for responding. How would I create this bleed valve ? Where would I get the parts ? |
