my 01 kia spectra's ignition literally froze last night. it was 30 below. has anyone ever heard of this happening?

Yes, its actually the grease inside the lock cylinder that freezes. You can try to heat up your ignition key with a match and put it in the cylinder and sometimes that will defrost the grease. Otherwise dont try and force it. |
