Miss Bardahl

A throw back to days gone by... with an updated twist... Mixes of pearls and transparent orange and yellows, mostly decals from my sheet with a couple custom ones too... - Mark

Question: If it's not interesting to you amnes, why did you waste your energy commenting on it in a pretty much negative way?
Don't need an answer, it's rhetorical.
BTW, all I could find of your's was a post about something you bought, and said you were gonna do this and that to. Please show us what you can do before you make any other negative posts about others' work, at least mine.

If you knew what you were talking about nosliw2004, or even read the caption, you would know what was done to it finish-wise and that it wasn't "straight out of the package ".
This car was smashed when it was given to me and it was out of the package. I fixed it. Both metal and plastic parts were damaged. (Looked like a semi rolled over part of it.)
So I see you don't know what the heck you are talking about.
BTW, I could not find anything you have made in this forum when I ran a search in it. Maybe if you posted some of your work, your comments would hold some value.

I've seen some pretty unimaginative and downright ugly things posted on this part of the board, (granted this is pretty tame), but I am able to contain myself and make positive or NO responses unless specifically asked to critique, even then it is not an excuse to bash.

Please think a little before you make snide comments. You may think you are being cute or funny, but you are being neither. And if you're just trying to be rude. WHY? Are you this way in person too? Or only when you can hide behind the isolated protection of the internet?

I didn't build it for you, I shared it with everyone. The person I made it for is very pleased with it. That is really all that counts. No wonder so many people have left this portion of AF.

And don't start a flame over this. Don't put your lack of manners and respectfulness on me as being too sensitive. I will not respond so you'll just be yelling for the sake of "hearing" yourselves yelling.

Dear Scale-Master

AF is a public forum and You put pictures of Your car here. It's natural for me that I wrote a comment. It tells You what I think about the model.

If You don't want to hear critisizm adressed to Your work don't show it. I wrote what I think about it and it's just my opinion. So i dont understand your problem.

AMNES....Do you really have a clue. That car doesn't come out of the blister lookin' like that. Its 1/64. That's the small ones. Give it a try and lay a custom job on one. Then we....You can talk about it. I'm sure there are a lot of things different when it comes to modding a large scale vs. 1/64. Each would present its own challenge. But putting that kind of detail into a model of that size is a challenge that can only be appreciated by those that have attempted it.

If asked why folks have left this board I have to say rude people. And some form of "easy-speak" that only Orwell could decifer. ie "what was on the 2 photo that you covered?" At least you put a question mark at the end of the sentence. The 1st remark made to me here was a smart assed one. I took it with a grain of salt at first. Then I saw a trend towards that in many replys. That and little interest in 1/64 and replicas are two reasons why I don't visit here much anymore. I'd just soon not waste my time on clueless, unappreciative, smart-asses.
