My 97 just hit 180k with very few problems. She's been good to me.

I've had a few things over the years but no problems that I would consider real big. I went through a couple of bouts with O2 sensors, 1 alternator, and a bunch of break pads and a few rotors. I have a few issues right now, but nothing that keeps me from feeling comfortable going on long trip.

Gotcha beat. I have 236,000 on my 4.6L 4x4. Great Vehicle- never had a major engine/drivetrain issue.

Re: just turned 201k - 97 exped

My 97 just turned 195,550 and I tell you what she has not given me any problems either. I see myself driving it untill it falls out from under me. My husband says the rust will be the first thing to attack the "big girl" before any major mechanical stuff happens, so far he's right. I truly love this truck.

97 Exp with 230,000 miles, runs great and only had a few repairs "all the ball joints, fuel injectors". All the fluids are Mobil One Syn type. She looks good all around in that deep dark Blue..
