Getting Rid Of Check Engine
K well i installed a CAI not to long ago and ya well the sensor cable thing or w/e it is they had connected to the stock one is not connected to anthing now and ya i got that stupid check engine thing and i was told just to disconnect the battery for 5 mins and that didint do nothing i still go the check engine... does anyone know what to really do?????

try tightening your gas cap thing. ahah it sounds stupid but if you dont tighten it, the check engine light will come on. i know from experiance >.<

If your talking about the IAT sensor then just tap a hole in an area of the new intake piping and slap the old gromit along with the sensor into the intake piping then go to auto zone and have them clear the code.

k so u are saying put the old connection cable thing in the pipe of CAI and then get the code cleared and it should be good to go?

kk lol i have been driving around and just not giving a shit but w/e it is getting annoying but i will take your advice and just drive till it goes away.
