Stupid question gas door opener

I just bought a 98 Audi A4. Well after I left the dealership (if you could call it that) I stopped to put gas in it. But I can not find how to open the gas door. My ex girlfriends 2000 Jetta was on the floor next to the drivers seat and door along with the trunk switch. This car does not have them there and I cann't find them anywhere. It is dark out so maybe I'll have better luck in the daylight. If someone you help me out with this easliy sloved problem please let me know.

dont worry, i did the same thing when i first got my car. i have a 96, but i assume its the same. there is no release lever or anything like that. just make sure all the doors are unlocked and push on the right side of the gas door thingy. that should do the trick.

I was going to try that to at the gas station. But I tought that's not going to work. I just tried it and it does work. Thanks for the help.

Don't feel bad. My wife asked me to put gas in her A4 and I had to call her from the gas station and ask where the release was. Felt kinda stupid when she said there isn't one.

I did the exact same thing took me 10 mins of riping the car apart to finail figer it out
