|
engine light constantly flashing with engine miss 85 tpi
I had my electric fan hooked to a toggle switch forgot to turn it on, car got hot started missing and engine light started flashing with the miss.cannot get it to put out a code.does anyone have any suggestions on this problem.

Sure you're grounding the A and B terminals?

I almost want to put money on the table that the reason the fan is on a toggle now is because the Coolant temp sensor on the front of the intake went bad (hence no fan op) and now the computer is having a brain fart becasue it dosen't know what the engine temp is and now it can't determine fuel mixture either.

I believe the fan is controlled by a coolant temp switch located in the passanger side of the block.
